It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Season 12) (2017)

After a terrific three-episode start (with “The Gang Turns Black,” “The Gang Goes to a Water Park” and “Old Lady House: A Situation Comedy”), the twelfth season of the hilarious show sadly begins to deteriorate rather quickly into good-but-not-great episodes. While later episodes like “Hero or Hate Crime” and” PTSDee” almost propel the show back into its typically irreproachable consistency, the season ends on a whimper that suggest that a change in the format may be necessary to keep the show fresh going forward. Nevertheless, an uneven season of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is still better than most shows out there so there’s no reason to avoid it.
