An improvement over the limp original, this direct sequel to the 1989 cult classic isn’t exactly grand cinema but it’s got that Full Moon Entertainment charm – namely, an ominous musical score, an enthusiasm for the genre and charmingly lowbrow special effects. Featuring more likable characters than the original, a tighter pace and better actors, this one has memorable moments that make it worth a watch for the undiscriminating horror fan.
