Family Guy (Season 3) (2001)

Another great season from the show’s early run, Season 3 of Seth MacFarlane’s frequently hilarious sitcom has some of the show’s best ever episodes, from “A Fish Out of Water” to “To Live and Die in Dixie” and, possibly the show’s crowning achievement, “From Method to Madness.” The voice work remains top-notch (save for Mila Kunis, who never ceases to kill her jokes with her shrill, tone-deaf delivery) while the animation is as great as ever, but really the show lives or dies by its writing, which here is at its finest: Razor-sharp, irreverent, absurd, and never anything less than hilarious.
