One of my favorite B-horror movies, this is the type of genre entry to watch at midnight, or on Halloween night with like-minded friends. It perfectly captures a midnight-movie atmosphere not unlike 1985’s “The Return of the Living Dead” (which coincidentally co-stars Linnea Quigley as well), and while it’s not as polished as the aforementioned classic it’s still one hell of a good time. Mimi Kinkade is effectively sinister as Angela, while director Kevin S. Tenney keeps things moving briskly, with plenty of genuine scares and gruesome makeup effects. Highly recommended for fans of gloriously sleazy B-horror and haunted house movies.
