The third season of Comedy Central’s uniquely feminist sitcom isn’t quite as fresh and rewatchable as the first two, but that isn’t to suggest that it’s disappointing. After all, with all the buzz the show has received it was inevitable there would be some growing pains, but luckily co-leads and co-creators Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson manage to keep the focus on the characters. As the show progresses so do Glazer and Jacobson’s abilities, which results in a crackerjack sequence for Glazer following an unexpected breakup. There are several fan-favorite episodes in this season, with “Co-Op” emerging as a season highlight thanks to each performers’ dead-on impersonation of the other.
