There’s nothing quite like a Bing Crosby Christmas song. His yuletide contributions have been a major part of pop culture for a number of decades, with his silky, commanding voice gliding over holiday classics like “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” like nothing could be more satisfying. This version of the 20th Century Masters archive collection features the majority of his classic seasonal work, and while the songs sound clearer than their original recordings they haven’t lost any of their charm or warmth. This is the type of Christmas album that should be featured in any holiday-lover’s discography.
