Anyone who’s seen an episode of this sketch comedy show knows what I mean when I saw this show is unlike anything else out there. The comedic talents of duo Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen are on full display from the first episode, with both sharing a go-for-broke sensibility that satirizes hipster culture but never veers into mean-spiritedness. With stand-out supporting talent from the likes of the impossibly deadpan Kumail Nanjiani, not to mention laugh-out-loud cameos by Aimee Mann and Sarah McLachlan, the show manages to surprise and delight with each new episode. Fans of “Little Britain” or “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” will likely enjoy this sibling-in-spirit.
