Fleetwood Mac – Rumours (1977)

This classic album is the type of masterpiece that transcends time and genre. At any point, a listener of any age can listen and become an instant fan, thanks to legendary tracks like “Don’t Stop” and “Gold Dust Woman.” From the opener “Second Hand News,” the album announces its playful, smooth sound, with the shared vocals by Stevie Knicks and Lindsay Buckingham perfectly syncing with the overall mood. With additional, gorgeous and emotionally charged songs like “Go Your Own Way” and “The Chain,” there aren’t many albums that have stood the test of time as thoroughly as “Rumours,” and it’s a pleasure to see that it’s a record that continues to amass devotees.
