It’s hard to sit through this final season of the animated show, which is a damn shame because the first two seasons are genuinely hilarious and deserve much better. Maybe it’s that the format of the show has shifted away from delightfully long-winded conversations and into abstract, uninteresting hypotheticals clearly designed to highlight the animation. As a result the conversations themselves are decentralized, and gone is the rapport between the three hosts – instead it’s just absurd, forced diatribes about nothing in particular, while the hosts seem disinterested and distracted throughout. There’s no heart or much humor throughout this drag of a final season, and it ends the show on a sour note.
